As an independent tax consultancy firm we are specialized in Dutch and international VAT. Our strength is our extensive experience with international VAT, our practical and personal approach and the cost efficient way our firm operates. Based on our informal network, we can reach out to other experienced tax specialists in the Netherlands and abroad.
VATVision’s tax practice is accredited by the NOB, the Dutch Association for Academic Tax Advisors.
Wim Hundscheid
Wim Hundscheid has more than 10 years of international VAT experience gained as VAT advisor and as an in-house VAT manager.
After graduation in Tax Law at the University of Leiden, Wim joined the Indirect Tax department at Deloitte where he specialized in Dutch and EU VAT. During his career at Deloitte Wim was active in the supply chain team, focusing on the VAT aspects of business restructurings. In addition Wim gained vast experience in rendering VAT advice to multinational companies.
In January 2009 Wim joined the tax department of Q8 in the Netherlands as in-house VAT and Excise specialist, responsible for the Indirect Tax position of several European business segments of Q8. In December 2011 Wim joined Hamelink & Van den Tooren, one of the small sized leading tax firms in the Netherlands. In September 2015 Wim launched VATVision.
Wim’s main areas of expertise in VAT relates to holding & finance activities, supply chain transactions for goods and services, e-commerce business, the oil & gas industry and the chemical industry. With his experience as in-house VAT manager Wim also is exprienced with the optimisation of SAP and other business related processes from a VAT perspective. Wim also lectured VAT at the Business University Nyenrode up to and including the year 2013.
Wim is a member of the NOB, the Dutch Association for Academic Tax Advisors.
